About the role
As a Digital Commerce Functional Expert focusing on Merchandising solutions, your main role is to support the end-to-end product lifecycle for solutions like TRAX that support the global "Own the Store" program. Your responsibilities include: - Leading the definition and update of the TRAX product backlog, translating business requirements into well-defined requirements and acceptance criteria. - Writing functional specifications, ensuring stories are ready for development, and monitoring delivery progress. - Supporting the rollout and continuous improvement of Merchandising solutions features, enabling Merchandisers to capture, validate, and act on shelf execution data. - Collaborating with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between Merchandising solutions and related systems. - Acting as a point of contact for coordination with the Merchandising solutions vendor, ensuring support tickets are properly triaged and SLAs are respected. - Handling product governance with Merchandising Solution teams, maintaining product documentation, and liaising with regional and market teams globally. Qualifications and background required for this role include: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Junior Product / PO Experience with exposure to agile delivery. - Basic understanding of image recognition, computer vision, or retail execution platforms. - Some exposure to FMCG or FMCH commercial operations, trade marketing, or field-force environments. - Comfort with data analysis, KPI tracking, and reporting tools. - Familiarity with agile methodologies and backlog management tools. To excel in this role, you should be proactive, autonomous, a clear communicator adaptable to various audiences, detail-oriented, and have a genuine curiosity for digital commerce, Retail execution, and FMCG.
