Location: New Delhi, India Work Mode: In Office About the Role At ONDC, Product Leads shape the future of India's open digital commerce ecosystem. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for defining product vision, driving strategy, and delivering platform capabilities that enable an entire ecosystemnot just a single product. As a Product Lead, you will own one or more strategic domains across the ONDC Network, including Logistics, Travel & Tourism, or Financial Services. You will work at the intersection of technology, ecosystem development, policy, and business, partnering with Engineering, Architecture, Network Participants, and senior leadership to build interoperable products that scale nationally. This role is ideal for experienced product leaders who thrive in ambiguous environments, enjoy solving ecosystem-level problems, and are passionate about building Digital Public Infrastructure that creates meaningful impact. What You'll Do Define Product Vision & Strategy Own the long-term product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your assigned domain.Translate ONDC's mission into scalable product initiatives that accelerate network adoption and ecosystem growth.Identify emerging technology, market, and regulatory trends to inform strategic product investments.Balance long-term platform evolution with near-term execution priorities. Build Category-Defining Platform Products Lead the product lifecycle from opportunity identification through launch and continuous optimization.Own the roadmap for open APIs, network specifications, and platform capabilities.Partner closely with Engineering and Architecture teams to design secure, scalable, and interoperable products.Drive product decisions using customer insights, ecosystem feedback, experimentation, and data.Define success metrics and continuously improve adoption, engagement, and network health. Drive Ecosystem Growth Build trusted relationships with buyers, sellers, logistics providers, financial institutions, technology partners, and other Network Participants.Understand ecosystem challenges and translate them into scalable platform solutions.Champion interoperability, openness, and network-first thinking across the ecosystem.Collaborate with industry associations and, where relevant, regulatory stakeholders to drive adoption and standards. Lead Through Influence Partner with Engineering, Technology, Policy, Operations, Business, and Leadership teams to align product priorities.Present product vision, roadmap, investment priorities, and business impact to executive leadership.Influence cross-functional decisions across multiple teams without direct authority.Build alignment across diverse stakeholder groups while navigating ambiguity and competing priorities. Develop Product Excellence Mentor and coach Product Managers, fostering high standards of product thinking and execution.Establish scalable product management processes, operating rhythms, and best practices.Promote a culture of customer obsession, experimentation, operational excellence, and continuous learning. What We're Looking For: Experience 1015 years of Product Management experience with significant ownership of complex technology products.Proven experience building and scaling marketplace, platform, API-first, or network-based products.Experience leading strategic initiatives across multiple cross-functional teams.Demonstrated success influencing senior executives and driving organization-wide outcomes.Experience mentoring Product Managers or leading product teams.
