About the role
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will utilize your superior knowledge and experience to test Applications. You will play a key role in the agile team, ensuring high quality in test efforts that involve multiple test resources and coordination with development teams. Your responsibilities will include analyzing, designing, and developing Automated tests, creating and maintaining CI/CD setup and environments, daily automation monitoring, proactive reporting, and escalation of issues, developing and executing test plans against functional and technical requirements, maintaining test strategies and test cases, and performing functional, integration, and regression testing. You will also be responsible for identifying, isolating, regressing, and communicating bugs effectively, logging defects in a detailed and reproducible way, tracking all assigned defects through closure, and interacting with the development team to resolve discovered defects. Additionally, you will create, maintain, perform, and upgrade test scripts, analyze test cases, and provide regular progress reports, evaluate and communicate test coverage, red flags, and anomalies to the Scrum team to aid in decision-making for certifying releases, perform business/requirements analysis, and identify requirements traceability. You will take ownership of assigned product module QA efforts and build, maintain, and administer a controlled test environment. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field - 10+ years of experience testing complex enterprise-level applications and team coordination - Strong working experience in testing frameworks like Selenium, Protractor - Strong Analysis and Communication Skills - Quick learner and creative problem solver who can work independently with little supervision and as part of a team - Understanding of iterative software development life cycle and Agile methodologies, such as Scrum - Knowledge of Software Testing techniques (boundary value analysis, Cartesian products, decision analysis) and methodologies - Experience designing and implementing test plans and test cases (manual/automation, framework) - Experience liaising with groups of people across several geographies - Excellent communication and time management skills No additional details of the company were mentioned in the job description.
