Department Business Intelligence Job Description The Power BI Analyst at OpenBI is responsible for transforming data into insights that drive business value. This role involves data cleaning, developing BI models, creating dynamic reports and dashboards, and providing actionable insights through effective data visualization. The analyst will work closely with various business stakeholders to enhance decision-making processes across the organization. Key Responsibilities Develop, design, and maintain complex Power BI reports and dashboards. Interpret business needs and translate them into technical specifications for BI reports and dashboards. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in databases and reports. Scope and Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate Power BI with other business systems for streamlined operations. Provide user support and training on new reports and dashboards. Monitor and optimize dashboard performance to ensure quick loading and data refresh times. Requirements Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role focusing on analytics, business intelligence, or data management. Strong expertise in using Power BI tools to develop dynamic dashboards, BI reports, and data models. Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modelling techniques. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in speaking English confidently, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders in English. Desirable Hands-on experience in solving client business challenges, demonstrating the ability to understand and address client needs effectively. Strong business acumen with the capability to provide smart solution designs that align with strategic business objectives. Ability to solve problems and deliver solutions independently with minimal support, showcasing strong initiative and resourcefulness. Knowledge of SQL, Python, Power Apps, and Power Automate is an added advantage, enhancing the ability to integrate and automate data flows. Experience in project management or leading project teams, which would be beneficial in managing BI projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
