Sr. Data Platform Engineer

You will be responsible for leading the development of the centralized data infrastructure at OpenGov Inc. in Pune. Your main role will involve designing and scaling ELT/ETL pipelines, building self-service CI/CD tooling, and implementing governance across the data stack. The focus will be on utilizing your expertise in Snowflake, dbt, AWS, and Terraform to establish a robust and high-performance data factory. Your primary objective will be to enable federated teams by providing reliable and scalable infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Design and scale ELT/ETL pipelines - Build self-service CI/CD tooling - Implement governance across the data stack - Utilize expertise in Snowflake, dbt, AWS, and Terraform to build a robust data factory - Enable federated teams through reliable and scalable infrastructure Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience in data or platform engineering - Strong experience with Snowflake architecture and dbt modularity - Proficiency in building automated ingestion frameworks with Fivetran and AWS - Strong proficiency in Python and advanced SQL - Experience in building self-service provisioning and CI/CD frameworks Please note that the required tools for this role include Snowflake, dbt, AWS, Terraform, Fivetran, Python, and SQL.
