Business Quality Analyst

As a Quality Analyst at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high quality of our web and mobile applications through manual and automation testing practices. Your responsibilities will include: - Creating, reviewing, and executing detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans. - Performing Manual Testing such as Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Integration Testing, UI/UX Validation, Cross-browser and Responsive Testing. - Identifying, documenting, tracking, and verifying bugs using defect tracking tools. - Collaborating closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables. - Participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and QA discussions. - Conducting API testing using tools like Postman. - Performing basic database validation and backend data verification when required. - Supporting UAT and production release validation activities. - Assisting in automation testing activities and maintenance of automation scripts/frameworks. - Utilizing AI tools for test case generation, bug analysis, documentation, and QA productivity enhancement. - Staying updated with the latest QA trends, tools, and testing methodologies. Required Skills: - 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing. - Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC. - Experience in writing clear and detailed test cases and bug reports. - Good understanding of web and mobile application testing. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Experience with bug tracking/project management tools like JIRA or similar. - Hands-on exposure to Playwright automation scripting. - Familiarity with AI tools such as GPT, Claude, or similar AI-assisted productivity tools. - Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and teamwork abilities. Good to Have Skills: - API Testing using Postman or similar tools. - Basic SQL knowledge for database testing. - Exposure to Git/version control systems. - Knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, or other automation frameworks. - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows. - Basic scripting/programming knowledge in JavaScript, Java, or Python.
