As a Mobile Application Developer in this role, your responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing a cross-platform mobile application for drivers, which includes enabling real-time GPS tracking, event updates (pickup, en-route, delivery, delay), and proof-of-delivery capture. - Developing backend services to ingest telematics data, process events, and expose APIs for dashboards and reporting. - Building interactive transportation dashboards and KPI reports covering vehicle utilization, delivery performance, route adherence, idle time, and on-time delivery metrics. - Integrating IoT tracking platforms and ensuring secure, scalable data pipelines. - Collaborating with product, UX, and operations teams to refine requirements and deliver high-quality features. Qualifications required for this position: - 3+ years of experience in mobile app development (Android/iOS) with proficiency in Kotlin/Swift or React Native. - Strong backend development skills in Node.js or Python, with experience building RESTful APIs and working with relational/NoSQL databases. - Hands-on experience with GPS, telematics, and IoT data ingestion. - Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or custom dashboards) and reporting. - Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in an agile environment.
