Junior SAP Basis Administrator

We are looking for a motivated Junior SAP Basis Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on foundational experience in SAP Basis administration, cloud infrastructure, and Linux environments who is eager to grow in a fast-paced enterprise setting. Key Responsibilities: Support day-to-day SAP Basis operations including system monitoring, transport management (STMS), and user administration Assist with SAP system refreshes, client copies, and patching activities Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for SAP workloads provisioning, sizing, and basic infrastructure management Perform routine Linux administration tasks: file system management, process monitoring, cron jobs, and shell scripting Participate in incident resolution and change management following ITIL processes Support Basis tasks for SAP NetWeaver stack (ABAP and/or Java) including kernel upgrades and Support Package application Required Skills: 1 2 years of hands-on SAP Basis experience (S/4HANA or ECC) Familiarity with at least one Hyperscaler platform AWS, Azure, or GCP (SAP-certified infrastructure preferred) Working knowledge of Linux (RHEL/SLES) command line, file systems, scripting basics Understanding of SAP transport system (STMS), background jobs, and system logs Basic knowledge of SAP HANA database administration is a plus Nice to Have: SAP Basis or cloud certifications (SAP, AWS/Azure/GCP) Exposure to SAP Solution Manager or Cloud ALM Experience with monitoring tools (SAP CCMS, Grafana, or similar) Soft Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset Good communication able to work with cross-functional teams Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
