Role Description The Site Engineer (Data) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The individual in this role will oversee day-to-day site activities related to electrical and low-voltage data infrastructure, including planning, supervising installation, and coordinating with civil and structural teams to ensure compliance with design specifications. Responsibilities include monitoring quality control procedures, verifying that work meets safety and regulatory standards, and maintaining accurate site documentation and reports. The Site Engineer will work closely with project managers, contractors, and client representatives to resolve technical issues, manage timelines, and support smooth project execution. The role also involves regular communication with stakeholders, conducting site inspections, and ensuring that data and ELV systems are installed, tested, and commissioned effectively. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision skills, including site coordination and field execution experience.Candidates should possess effective communication skills for interacting with project teams, contractors, and clients, and for preparing clear reports and documentation.Candidates should possess quality control and inspection skills, with the ability to enforce standards, safety practices, and adherence to project specifications.Candidates should possess structural engineering and civil engineering knowledge to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and understand drawings and load requirements.Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.Experience in data centers, ELV systems, structured cabling, or fiber projects (FTTH/FTTB/FTTP/FTTN) will be an advantage.Proficiency in reading technical drawings, using basic engineering tools, and working with common project management practices is beneficial.Ability to work safely on construction sites, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to dynamic project conditions.
