About the role
Role Overview: Oracle Health is seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer to join their team and contribute to revolutionizing life science and patient care through innovative technology solutions. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on experience in building highly scalable enterprise cloud applications with built-in high availability and disaster recovery. - Collaborate with cross-functional team members to architect and design multiple products. - Lead the design and development of new software components and features, ensuring high-quality standards. - Continuously learn, experiment, and apply cutting-edge technology and software paradigms. - Take ownership of deploying new code to production environments and ensure seamless releases. - Participate in the day-to-day operations of the services, providing ongoing support and maintenance. - Engage in all phases of the software development process, from ideation to delivery. Qualifications: - BS/MS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent. - Minimum 8 years of experience in designing and developing complex software systems using Java-based platforms and cloud applications. - Strong object-oriented design and development skills with experience in enterprise cloud application design and microservice development. - Solid programming experience with expertise in object-oriented principles, design patterns, data structures, and unit testing. - Expert knowledge of Java/JEE technologies and frameworks like JPA, JDBC, and Web Services paradigms. - Experience with RDBMS, SQL or no-SQL databases, preferably Oracle. - Proficiency in technologies such as Oracle JET, JQuery, Knockout JS, Preact/React, LESS/SASS. - Experience with Tomcat Application server, Docker, and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of Apache Zookeeper, Spark, or Kafka is advantageous. - Familiarity with a Profiling tool like JProfiler. - Strong communication skills, ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, and excellent time management. - Preferred skills include experience with massively scalable systems, healthcare systems, or medical data.
