About the role
As a Quality Engineering Lead at our company, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of automated testing solutions. Your role will involve integrating quality validation within CI/CD pipelines and enforcing quality gate standards throughout the software delivery lifecycle. You will actively drive the adoption of AI-powered practices and tools to enhance project productivity, improve software quality, and accelerate delivery outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans aligned with product quality objectives, scalability requirements, and business priorities. - Develop and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing to ensure reliability and performance of critical services. - Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts, ensuring seamless execution within CI/CD pipelines. - Leverage AI-powered tools and automation techniques to accelerate test creation, defect analysis, test optimization, and overall quality engineering productivity. - Manage test environments, test data, and validation activities to support efficient and effective testing processes. - Perform risk-based testing and regression analysis to optimize test coverage, release quality, and delivery timelines. - Investigate, reproduce, diagnose, and track defects, collaborating with engineering teams to drive timely resolution and root-cause remediation. - Lead defect triage activities, contribute to post-incident reviews, and identify recurring quality issues to improve product stability. - Monitor and report quality metrics, test progress, defect trends, and release readiness to support informed decision-making. - Apply quality gate criteria at key development milestones by evaluating test results, code quality metrics, and defect risk indicators. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing efforts, influence quality-focused design decisions, and improve engineering processes and tooling. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps, enhancing test effectiveness, and promoting best practices in quality engineering and AI-assisted testing.
