About the role
Role Overview: As a member of the Customer Success Services (CSS) team at Oracle, your role involves establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with Oracle's customers through annuity-based service contracts and project-based services. CSS services team sells a broad IT services portfolio on both fixed price and T&M basis to large Oracle customers with mission-critical applications. Your responsibilities include providing unmatched support, ensuring Oracle technology investments deliver cutting-edge innovation, and maximizing performance within the customers' IT environment. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and administer Oracle Database/RAC 11g, 12c, 19c - Demonstrate expert knowledge of Oracle Database Architecture, RAC, and Performance Tuning - Troubleshoot and optimize database performance - Work on database upgrades, patching, and tuning of Oracle instances and SQL - Possess good communication and customer management skills - Collaborate with Development and Support teams to facilitate issue resolution - Manage escalated technical situations, develop action plans, and provide proactive services that benefit customers - Utilize strong analytical skills to support large-scale Oracle customers - May require some travel Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent (BE/BTech and/or MS preferred) - Minimum 7+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator/Consultant/Support Engineer - Availability to work in a 24x7 capacity - Oracle Database/Exadata/OCI certification preferred - Optional skills in PL SQL, SQL, Exadata, Goldengate considered a plus - Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 11g/12c/13c - Familiarity with support processes and ability to manage customer relationships effectively - Career Level: IC3 (Note: Detailed description and job requirements are omitted as they provide additional technical details beyond the scope of this summary) Role Overview: As a member of the Customer Success Services (CSS) team at Oracle, your role involves establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with Oracle's customers through annuity-based service contracts and project-based services.
