As a Junior Consultant at Oracle Financial Services Global Business Unit (FSGBU) in the Banking Consulting Europe team, you will have the opportunity to work with a new generation of Oracle Banking products in next-generation architecture. Your role will involve participating in development, implementation, and managed service activities within the Digital Banking team. Your responsibilities will include: - Participating as a Technical team member in activities such as Migration, Integration, Testing support, and coordination with other Oracle teams. - Assisting with analysis, design, and implementation of solutions for various business requirements. - Developing programs as per specifications/requirements provided by Oracle/Client within the planned schedule. - Using defined standards, tools, and processes to deliver quality solutions that meet client expectations. - Documenting all work in accordance with agreed standards/processes. - Adhering to the defined Change Control Process and compliance requirements. - Ensuring quality code delivery and performing proper handover/knowledge transfer at the end of each assignment. - Providing timely status reporting to supervisors and submitting timesheets and expenses promptly. Desired Skills & Experience: Primary Skills: - Experience in end-to-end Development, Implementation, and Support activities related to Oracle Digital Banking products. - Exposure to Banking Domain and Digital Banking applications. - Knowledge and skills in software programming with technologies such as Core Java, J2EE, Microservices, Springboot, JavaScript, XML. - Experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database (18c or 12c) is a plus. - Working knowledge of Release management, Source control tools, and software deployment/troubleshooting on Application Server software like Oracle Weblogic. - Ability to perform issue tracking for applications and follow-up for resolution with stakeholders. - Strong client interaction skills, including presenting solutions and awareness of banking terminologies. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and good communication/documentation skills in English. Secondary Skills: - Exposure to Software development processes, Cloud, SAAS deployments, Agile, DevOps tools, and Testing tools. - Knowledge of Oracle OBIEE Reports, BIP, middleware like Oracle Fusion SOA Suite. Experience: - 2 to 5 years of experience with at least 1 year in primary skill areas. - Experience in development, implementation, and support of core banking applications. Educational and Other Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. - Willingness to work offshore and travel to client locations. - Willingness to pursue Oracle Banking/FLEXCUBE Technical certifications as required. - Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-moving, and challenging environment. - Strong team player and willingness to work on shifts on a rotation basis based on project needs.
