As a Security Expert at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the network security support activities are effectively carried out. Your responsibilities will include: - Incident Management: Handling real-time and reactive network security incidents across all managed connectivity areas. - Problem Management: Conducting root cause analyses and developing service improvement plans related to network security. - Implementation and Maintenance: Collaborating with technical management teams for the implementation and maintenance of MPLS, MLAN, and SD-WAN networks. - Vulnerability Management: Overseeing vulnerability management for connectivity devices and conducting deep analysis and evaluation of vulnerabilities based on vendor bug / PSIRT announcements. - Automation: Utilizing UNIX and scripting languages to automate configurations and other activities. - Project Ownership: Providing end-to-end ownership for all network optimization projects and adhering to committed deadlines. - Training: Providing security training to internal teams to promote compliance and foster a security culture. - Timely response & closure of security incidents based on priority and criticality. - Change Management: Ensuring changes are aligned with security standards and configuration guidelines. - Enhancement in the security posture with persistent assessments and mitigation strategies. - Security Interlock: Interlocking with engineering teams to define and update processes and guidelines, ensuring alignment with security standards. - Security Audits: Conducting and executing security audits on devices, revising protocols as necessary to propose solutions that mitigate security risks. - Maintaining a thorough understanding of tools, systems, and processes required for quality customer support. - Security Dashboard: Managing the Security Dashboard that displays the security posture across various network areas. Qualifications required for this role include: - Engineering Degree / Equivalent in Telecommunications field, preferred. - Competency in Microsoft Office applications like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, PowerBI. - Familiarity with cloud and SASE-based applications is preferred. - Strong verbal & written communication skills in English language. - Security mindset and network security experience. - Expertise in Router configuration, routing, Access control, SD WAN, Meraki, Scripting. - Ability to research and stay up to date with security trends. - Proficiency in developing physical and information security protocols and procedures. - Strong business analysis, process, and tools skills & customer service skills. - Experience working with international / cross-functional teams desirable. - Willingness to work in a flexible support environment.
