About the role
As an experienced VoIP Infrastructure Engineer specializing in building, customizing, and optimizing dialer platforms for large-scale contact center solutions, your role at our company will involve integrating with SIP/VoIP providers, deploying and managing VoIP platforms, terminating and managing media flows, configuring networking for call routing, handling Linux server administration, diagnosing and debugging real-time media issues, architecting call routes and dial plans, collaborating with engineering teams, and documenting systems and network designs. Key Responsibilities: - Integrate with SIP/VoIP providers by configuring SIP trunking, channel provisioning, and carrier-grade SIP-level integration - Deploy and manage VoIP platforms (Asterisk, Kamailio) and media relays (RTPengine); experience with FreeSWITCH is a plus - Terminate and manage media flows in data centres, supporting AI-based voice processing - Configure networking for call routing and NAT traversal in data centre and client environments - Handle Linux server administration, containerization, patching, and automation - Diagnose and debug real-time media issues using tools like Wireshark, sngrep, tcpdump - Architect call routes, dial plans, load balancing, and failover strategies across deployments - Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate with platforms like Twilio and Genesys - Document systems, network designs, call flows, and deployment SOPs Required Technical Skills: - Strong expertise with Asterisk, including dial plans, ARI, AMI, voice codecs, and IVR logic - Proficiency in Kamailio, including NAT handling, registrar, dispatcher, and SIP proxy logic - Experience configuring RTPengine for media relay and NAT traversal - Deep understanding of SIP protocol, SDP negotiation, RTP, call flows, and signaling - Advanced knowledge of computer networking, including NAT, STUN/TURN, routing, subnetting, packet filtering, firewalls, and load balancing - Experience integrating with SIP providers and strong Linux administration skills - Hands-on debugging experience with SIP/RTP diagnostics and trace tools - Experience with SIP load testing and creation of observability dashboards - Knowledge of scripting for automation, monitoring, and Linux servers Preferred/Bonus Skills: - Experience with FreeSWITCH deployments and Docker/containerized deployment - Exposure to cloud platforms for VoIP deployments and understanding of VoIP security - Familiarity with traffic shaping, jitter buffering, and SIP analytics platforms - Experience with SBCs, secure SIP peering, and REST API integration - Basic knowledge of databases, version control, CI/CD automation tools, and call center software - Experience configuring agent desktops over CTI integrations Soft Skills & Communication: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and cross-functional teams - Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Ability to manage client expectations, lead on-site technical discussions, and produce clear documentation - Comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering culture If you join our team, you can expect a workplace filled with passion, happiness, and great people, along with an open culture and amazing growth opportunities.
