CAD Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and technically strong CAD Engineer to support design and development activities at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise 2D/3D models, drawings, and design documentation for orthopedic implants, ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong design skills, in-depth knowledge of CAD software , and the ability to collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment. Responsibilities As a CAD Engineer, the responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to: Creating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (preferably Siemens NX / SolidWorks / AutoCAD). Interpreting engineering requirements, specifications, and design inputs to develop accurate models and drawings. Preparing manufacturing drawings with GDT, tolerances, and technical specifications. Supporting product development, design modifications, and engineering change requests (ECR/ECN). Coordinating with Production, VMC Programmers, and Quality teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability. Maintaining design documentation, revision control, and drawing standards as per company and regulatory requirements. Assisting in prototype development and design validation activities. Ensuring all designs meet quality standards and compliance requirements for orthopedic implants. Troubleshooting design-related issues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Maintaining proper records of design files, BOMs, and related technical documents.
