Role Overview: As a Technology Service Manager, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the transition from reactive management to proactive, data-driven governance within the banking sector. Your main goal will involve ensuring the availability of critical banking services, such as payments and mobile access, even during severe technical or cyber disruptions. You will play a crucial role in operational resilience, regulatory compliance, strategic service governance, third-party and vendor oversight, intelligent automation, AIOps implementation, stakeholder and cultural leadership, and compliance with organizational risk management and data governance policies. Key Responsibilities: - Operational Resilience & Regulatory Compliance - Mapping Important Business Services (IBS) and identifying dependencies of critical systems. - Managing Impact Tolerance to set and monitor maximum tolerable disruption for services. - Conducting Resilience Scenario Testing through simulations for vulnerability identification. - Handling Incident Classification & Reporting by managing a streamlined process for major ICT incidents. - Strategic Service Governance - Enhancing ITSM Process Maturity by implementing ITIL 4-based practices. - Maintaining Asset & Configuration Management (CMDB) for ICT assets. - Overseeing Change Enablement to prevent unintended outages. - Third-Party & Vendor Oversight - Performing Concentration Risk Assessment to evaluate reliance on single providers. - Ensuring Contractual Compliance with mandatory clauses for audit rights and security standards. - Monitoring Continuous Vendor Performance for critical functions. - Intelligent Automation & AIOps - Implementing AIOps to automate root-cause analysis and reduce MTTR. - Introducing Predictive Maintenance for proactive service management. - Ensuring AI Governance for auditability of automated service actions. - Stakeholder & Cultural Leadership - Engaging in Executive Storytelling by translating technical data for leadership. - Encouraging Continual Service Improvement through staff involvement. - Maintaining Compliance Standards and Risk Management Policies as a nominated Risk Champion. Qualification Required: - Experience in Transformation & Modernization within a banking environment. - Proficiency in Legacy System Refactoring and Cloud Migration Governance. - Strong knowledge of operational resilience, regulatory compliance, strategic service governance, third-party oversight, intelligent automation, AIOps, stakeholder leadership, and cultural improvement. - Ability to comply with organizational Risk Management and Data Governance Policies.
