About the Role As a Full Stack Engineer (SDE-2) at Outsized, you will play a key role in building and maintaining features for our product. You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ship high-impact functionality that directly improves our product experience. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving real-world problems, is strong across both frontend and backend technologies, and thrives in a growing, agile team. What You'll Do Collaborate with product and design teams to define, scope, and implement new features end-to-end Write clean, scalable, and efficient code – both frontend (React, Next.js) and backend (Node.js, Typescript, Python, AWS Lambda) Take ownership of technical components, from implementation through testing and deployment Build reusable components and libraries for future use Help maintain a consistent, high-quality user experience across web and mobile views Work with DevOps to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and observability Participate in code reviews, team stand-ups, and sprint planning Contribute to improving engineering practices, documentation, and system design What You Bring 3–5 years of experience in full-stack product development Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript and Nodejs Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly within serverless architecture (Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, etc.) Experience with GraphQL. Experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases Understanding of authentication and security best practices Strong understanding of scalable system design and web performance optimization Experience working in agile teams and collaborating across functions Curiosity, ownership, and a proactive approach to problem-solving Nice to Have Experience with frameworks such as React, Next.js.
