About the role
We are looking for a Senior SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance e-commerce applications. The ideal candidate will work as an individual contributor, owning one or more Hybris modules end-to-end and driving technical design, development, quality, and performance. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable e-commerce applications using SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) and Java Own assigned Hybris backend modules end-to-end (design development deployment support) Develop and integrate REST / SOAP APIs, OCC services, and SAP integrations Ensure high standards for code quality, performance, and security Implement secure coding practices using tools like SonarQube / Coverity Troubleshoot performance issues using APM tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics) Drive unit testing, automation, and TDD practices Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/DevOps environment Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and production issues Requirements4+ years of overall experience in enterprise application development 35+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud Strong expertise in Java / J2EE Spring / Spring Boot SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2 preferred) OCC (Omni Commerce Connect) APIs REST / SOAP APIs JSP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS Experience with: Hybris modules (Cart, Checkout, OMS, Catalog, etc.) CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab) Secure coding & DevSecOps practices Performance monitoring tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics) Hybris Module Experience (Minimum 2 Required) Cart & Checkout Order Management (OMS) Catalog & Content Management Promotions & Vouchers Search & Navigation Account Management OCC Layer Backoffice / ASM Integrations Integration Experience Payment integrations Tax integrations SAP ECC / API integrations Web services, RFC calls Good to Have Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2) deployments Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) Knowledge of SAP PI / EDI integrations Familiarity with Jira, Confluence SAP Hybris certification Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking Ownership mindset with attention to detail Ability to work independently and drive delivery Good communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience working with globally distributed teams BenefitsCompetitive compensation Opportunity to work on enterprise-scale e-commerce platforms High ownership and technical exposure Collaborative Agile / DevOps environment Career growth in digital commerce engineering .
