Software Developer Full Time On-Site

Gather and analyze business and technical requirements. Develop and deliver Business Requirement Documents (BRD), and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) to articulate project specifications and expectations. Create Use Case Diagrams and Object Model Diagrams using MS Visio and MS Office. Develop SQL queries with multi-table joins, group functions and subqueries for data analysis. Conduct mapping and GAP analysis. Develop and implement test plans and test scripts. Generate Crystal Reports to present data insights and analytics. Master’s degree in the Science, Technology, or Engineering (any) is required. Work location: Sterling, VA and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Requirement Proven work experience as a Software Developer. Experience designing interactive applications. Ability to develop software in Java, Ruby on Rails, C++ or other programming languages. Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate). Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC). Experience with test-driven development. Proficiency in software engineering tools. Ability to document requirements and specifications. Minimum educational requirement of a four-year bachelor degree program. Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or the equivalent. Must be willing to travel/relocate to anywhere in the US. ‍

What you will do Your day-to-day will involve designing and developing software across various programming languages including Java, Ruby on Rails, and C++. You'll leverage your deep understanding of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies, along with your experience in web frameworks and test-driven development, to create robust web applications.
