About the role
As a Technical Lead in the Product department, you will be responsible for leading technical execution, guiding engineers, designing scalable systems, and ensuring high-quality delivery across product initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include: - Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable web applications using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Express. - Provide technical direction, architecture guidance, and code quality standards for the engineering team. - Manage and mentor engineers, support task planning, and help improve team execution. - Design and maintain databases using MySQL, DynamoDB, and other appropriate data stores. - Build and support cloud-based systems using AWS services such as Lambda, RDS, S3, and related infrastructure. - Review code, improve engineering practices, and promote clean, maintainable, secure software. - Troubleshoot production issues, improve system performance, and support ongoing platform stability. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience. - At least 1 year of experience managing or leading an engineering team. - Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Express. - Experience with MySQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB. - Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, RDS, and S3. - Strong understanding of software architecture, API design, testing, and production support. - Experience with Git-based development workflows and code review practices.
