The Role We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer Intern - MERN eager to build real-world software products. You'll work closely with experienced engineers and the founding team to develop scalable web applications, contribute to product features, and gain hands-on experience across the entire development lifecycle. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates who want practical startup experience and are excited about building products used by customers globally. Key Responsibilities Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.jsDevelop backend APIs using Node.js and Express.jsWork with MongoDB for data modeling, querying, and database operationsParticipate in feature development, debugging, and testingCollaborate with designers, product managers, and senior developersWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented codeParticipate in code reviews and Agile development processesLearn modern software engineering best practices and contribute to continuous improvements Required Skills Good understanding of JavaScript (ES6+)Basic knowledge of React.jsBasic understanding of Node.js and Express.jsFamiliarity with MongoDB or NoSQL databasesUnderstanding of HTML5 and CSS3Knowledge of REST APIsFamiliarity with Git and GitHubStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsWillingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment Preferred Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related fieldAcademic or personal projects built using the MERN stackFamiliarity with Redux or Context APIBasic understanding of Docker or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Exposure to Agile development methodologies Bonus Points Built and deployed personal or academic projectsContributions to open-source projectsExperience with AI-powered applications or APIsInterest in startups, SaaS platforms, or marketplace productsPassion for solving real-world problems through technology Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (Graduation completed is mandatory).Hands-on experience building applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced startup environment.Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with Redux, Context API, or other state management libraries.Portfolio, GitHub repositories, or live projects demonstrating MERN Stack development. Eligibility Graduation must be completed.Must be available for a full-time internship (36 months).Should be capable of contributing to production-level development from the beginning.Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a startup environment with ownership of assigned tasks. .
