Role Overview: As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, installation, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of instrumentation and control systems used in industrial processes. Your role is crucial in ensuring reliable operation, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop instrumentation and control systems for industrial processes. - Prepare instrument datasheets, specifications, loop diagrams, and wiring drawings. - Select and specify field instruments including pressure transmitters, temperature sensors (RTDs, Thermocouples), flow meters, level transmitters, and control valves. - Perform calibration, testing, and commissioning of instruments. - Troubleshoot instrumentation and control system issues. - Maintain and optimize PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems. - Support plant shutdowns, maintenance activities, and project execution. - Ensure compliance with safety standards and engineering codes. - Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and project teams. - Prepare technical reports and documentation. - Manage spare parts and maintenance schedules. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related field. - 210 years of experience in instrumentation engineering (depending on position level). - Knowledge of industrial control systems and field instrumentation. - Familiarity with PLC, DCS, SCADA, HART, Modbus, and Foundation Fieldbus protocols. - Understanding of P&ID drawings and control philosophies.
