About the role
Role & responsibilities Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC Gen3) Developer with strong hands-on experience in OIC, particularly with Gen3 capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering integration solutions for enterprise customers. This role requires working closely with clients, contributing to solution design, and delivering scalable, high-quality integrations in a partner-driven implementation environment. Key Responsibilities Design and develop integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC Gen3) Work directly with customers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions Build integrations using REST/SOAP adapters, orchestrations, and event-driven patterns Leverage Gen3 capabilities such as enhanced observability, improved performance, and modernized runtime Participate in solution design, estimations, and technical discussions Perform testing, debugging, and performance tuning Support deployments, release cycles, and production rollouts Ensure adherence to Oracle-recommended best practices and integration frameworks Collaborate with functional teams across SaaS (ERP/HCM/SCM) and third-party systems Must Have Skills 5+ years of IT experience, with 3+ years in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Strong hands-on expertise in OIC (preferably Gen3) Experience building end-to-end integrations in cloud environments Strong understanding of: REST/SOAP APIs XML, XSLT, JSON Integration patterns (synchronous/asynchronous, pub-sub, etc.) Experience with OIC adapters (ERP, REST, FTP, DB, etc.) Knowledge of error handling, fault policies, and monitoring in OIC Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and release management Experience working in Agile delivery models in customer-facing roles Good to Have Experience with SOA Suite / SOACS / OSB Exposure to Oracle Process Automation / PCS Knowledge of ODI / BPM Familiarity with OCI services and cloud-native patterns Experience in large-scale or multi-phase project rollouts Soft Skills Strong communication skills with ability to interact with customers Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail Ability to work independently Preferred candidate profile 5+ years of IT experience, with 3+ years in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Strong hands-on expertise in OIC (preferably Gen3) Experience building end-to-end integrations in cloud environments Strong understanding of: REST/SOAP APIs XML, XSLT, JSON Integration patterns (synchronous/asynchronous, pub-sub, etc.) Experience with OIC adapters (ERP, REST, FTP, DB, etc.) Knowledge of error handling, fault policies, and monitoring in OIC Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and release management Experience working in Agile delivery models in customer-facing roles
