Deputy Manager - Product Design & Development - Electronics

Knowledge of Electronic product design and development process (Specially USB, Fan Regulator, Touch switches, IOT, Home Automation) Hand on experience on 3D Modelling, 2D drafting, PCB Design, Circuit Design, circuit simulation Technology experience on Wi-Fi, Zigbee, BACnet, Bluetooth. Through knowledge on BIS, CE, CRS standard for wiring accessory products Responsible for design, development and execution of new products in assigned categories of electronics products such as wiring device & switch gear products. Understand competitive marketplace for assigned categories and document competitive cross references. Take inputs from Marketing & Sales and Product planning team in order to plan and design new products with lower cost and/or value addition with budget and time constraints in mind. Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring projects such as preparation of records of expenditures and research findings, progress reports, and staff conferences, in order to inform management of current status of each project Lead cross-functional teams in developing new products from concept to final delivery. Requires effective interaction with Packaging, Purchasing, Operations, Logistics, Finance, Marketing and Sales Should set up product specifications & supervise the design validations at prototyping stages. Should prepare & evaluate quality targets for product to meet BIS requirements. Supervise the production trial and final product testing and subsequent roll out for mass production
