About the role
Panzer Technologies is looking for an experienced Sr. PHP Backend Developer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PHP development, including strong proficiency in PHP 8+ and experience with frameworks such as CodeIgniter and Laravel. Key Responsibilities Application Development: - Develop, maintain, and optimize PHP applications for high performance and responsiveness. - Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and continuously improve development practices. API Development: - Design and implement scalable, secure APIs for both internal and external consumption. Collaboration: - Work closely with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Code Quality: - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following PHP best practices. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues reported by users or QA teams. Database Management: - Manage MySQL databases, including database design, optimization, and data migration. Version Control: - Utilize version control systems like Git for smooth collaboration within the development team. Requirements Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience: - Minimum of 5 years of experience as a PHP Developer. - Expertise in PHP version 8+ and object-oriented programming (OOP). Technical Skills: - Strong proficiency in PHP frameworks, particularly CodeIgniter (version 4) and Laravel. - Solid understanding of MySQL and database management. - Experience in developing and consuming APIs. - Proficiency in frontend technologies like jQuery, JavaScript, and Ajax. - Familiarity with Git for version control.
