Solutions Architect Azure, AI & Enterprise Applications Company: Papigen Location: Remote Experience: 8+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary Papigen is seeking a highly experienced Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Enterprise Architecture, Microsoft Azure, AI-enabled solutions, Application Modernization, and Cloud-Native Development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, integrated, and AI-ready technology solutions while guiding implementation across software, data, security, and cloud infrastructure domains. This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge business and technology, establish architecture standards, mentor engineering teams, and drive modernization initiatives using up-to-date development frameworks, DevOps practices, AI orchestration, and Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities Solutions Architecture & Design - Design scalable, secure, and cloud-native architecture solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise standards. - Develop end-to-end architectural blueprints across applications, data, infrastructure, and integration layers. - Establish architectural guardrails, design patterns, and governance frameworks. - Ensure interoperability, high availability, performance, scalability, and maintainability of enterprise solutions. - Drive application modernization initiatives using modern technology stacks and cloud-native architectures. AI & Innovation - Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, AI platforms, developer productivity tools, and automation frameworks. - Design and implement AI-ready architectures and intelligent workflow solutions. - Assess opportunities for innovation and modernization to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes. - Promote adoption of AI-driven and agentic workflows across enterprise applications. Cloud & DevOps Leadership - Lead architecture initiatives within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. - Advocate DevSecOps best practices, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code, and platform engineering principles. - Drive cloud optimization, governance, security, reliability, and cost-efficiency initiatives. - Support engineering teams in adopting cloud-native development approaches. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration - Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, engineering teams, and leadership to define technology roadmaps. - Translate complex business requirements into practical and scalable technology solutions. - Participate in architecture reviews, solution assessments, and design governance forums. - Facilitate alignment across cross-functional Agile teams and support Program Increment (PI) planning. Mentoring & Governance - Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, coaching, and mentorship to development teams. - Establish architecture documentation standards and reusable frameworks. - Conduct design reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise architecture principles. - Support Agile teams with hands-on implementation guidance and architectural decision-making. Required Skills & Experience Experience - Minimum 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or related technology leadership roles. - Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale technology solutions. Technical Expertise - Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services. - Expertise in modern application frameworks including .NET, React, and cloud-native architectures. - Deep understanding of microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and enterprise integration patterns. - Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and DevSecOps practices. - Knowledge of AI/ML platforms, AI integration patterns, and enterprise AI adoption strategies. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Architecture & Leadership Skills - Ability to design and document end-to-end enterprise architecture solutions. - Experience evaluating multi-platform environments and ensuring seamless interoperability. - Strong architecture governance and decision-making capabilities. - Ability to assess emerging technologies and recommend modernization strategies. - Proven stakeholder management and communication skills. - Experience working within Agile Release Trains and large-scale Agile environments. - Strong mentoring and coaching abilities.
