About the role
As a Data Scientist at our company, you will be a crucial member of the team, responsible for extracting valuable insights from data to support informed decision-making. Your expertise in statistics, machine learning, and programming will be key in developing innovative solutions to complex business problems. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into actionable data science projects. - Collect, clean, and prepare large datasets for analysis. - Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies. - Develop and implement machine learning models for solving business problems like classification, regression, and recommendation systems. - Evaluate and validate the performance of machine learning models. - Communicate complex data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences using clear visualizations and presentations. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science methodologies and tools. - Document your work thoroughly for future reference and collaboration. - Participate in the development and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure. - Maintain high coding standards and software development principles. Qualifications: - Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Minimum of 3 years of experience in data science or a related field. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala. - Experience with statistical modeling and machine learning libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI. - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure is a plus. - Experience with data wrangling and data cleaning techniques. - Understanding of database concepts, especially SQL, is an advantage.
