For our Motion, Power, Sensing Division site based in Fribourg, we are currently offering a: Intern Engineering (6 months - starting date Summer 2026) The position Our test laboratory is a central element of our Engineering department, allowing a wide range of environmental testing on units further going into aerospace platforms. Typical tests are mechanical (vibrations, shocks), thermal (cycling, cryogenic), or electromagnetic (lightning, RF susceptibility).Most these tests require control and acquisition tools that needs transitioning into a standard modern framework.
Objectives Understanding the test equipment and machines, as well as participating in the on-going testing
Agreeing a new test framework and deriving the new test tool strategy, with associated actions
Implementing the listed actions
Verifying their efficiency and training the staff with the new test tools
Your profile Background in STI or Computer Science
Demonstrated interest in hands-on work and the link between hardware and software
Knowledge of Python and LabView is a plus
Knowledge of embedded systems testing and lab experience is a plus
French with good English level
