About the role
ParkourSC is a Silicon Valley (US)based software company that delivers an AI-powered platform for dynamic decision intelligence in supply-chain operations. Our digital-twin technology and advanced analytics help organisations anticipate disruptions, optimise complex networks and make faster, real time data-driven decisions. We are expanding our Operations Research team and are looking for a hands-on Operations Research Scientist to join our Decision Intelligence group in Hyderabad. Youll work closely with and report to our OR Lead, contributing directly to the development of algorithm-driven product features for global life-science clients. Your Impact Design, prototype and refine optimisation and simulation models for key product capabilities in supply chain management, e.g. network design, production scheduling, inventory management or logistics flows. Collaborate with product managers, engineers and senior OR experts to translate use cases into robust, scalable algorithms embedded in our decision platform. Contribute to model implementation, testing and deployment, balancing technical rigour with product usability and runtime performance. Analyse real-world supply-chain data to parameterise models, test assumptions and support validation with internal and external stakeholders. Stay current on OR methods and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and technical reviews within the Decision Intelligence team. Your Profile 35 years of hands-on experience in operations research, data science or advanced analytics, ideally focused on supply-chain problems. Masters degree (minimum) in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Data Science or related; a PhD is welcome but not required. Proficiency in Python for data wrangling (Pandas, SQL), numerical computing (NumPy, SciPy) and optimisation/simulation frameworks such as Pyomo, Gurobi, CPLEX, SimPy or similar. Solid grasp of linear, integer and (basic) nonlinear optimisation, plus familiarity with statistical modelling or machine-learning techniques for forecasting. Ability to interpret complex quantitative results and communicate clear, actionable insights in fluent spoken and written English. Bonus points for experience in life-science supply chains (pharma, biotech, chemicals or med-tech) and exposure to cloud-native development and CI/CD workflows.
