About the role
This is a hands-on support role in a broking / financial services environment. The candidate should be able to resolve internal issues, maintain proper records, coordinate with vendors, and take ownership until closure. Principal Responsibilities Support trading/algo/HFT infrastructure, including terminals, dealer logins, user mapping, system allocation, licenses, and vendor coordination. Maintain IT and exchange-related records for NSE, BSE, MSEI, ENIT, exchange portals, trader/dealer IDs, access rights, renewals, and submissions. Provide internal IT support across desktops, systems, software, Google Workspace, AD/user access, network, VPN, and business tools. Assist with algo and trading system support, including basic troubleshooting, licensing, installations, connectivity, and coordination with software vendors. Work with Linux, SQL, logs, servers, databases, and application-level support wherever required. Maintain records for IT assets, software licenses, subscriptions, AMC, warranties, credentials, vendors, and renewals. Coordinate with vendors, exchange support teams, internet providers, software providers, and hardware/service partners until closure. Support basic cyber hygiene including MFA, access control, antivirus, updates, password discipline, and system security. Communicate clearly with internal users, vendors, and management on issue status, timelines, and closures. Job Requirements Experience in IT support, system administration, desktop/server support, or trading technology support. Basic working knowledge of Linux, SQL, Windows systems, networking, VPN, logs, and application troubleshooting. Awareness of algo/HFT trading systems, licensing, terminals, dealer IDs, and exchange-user-based systems preferred. Familiarity with NSE, BSE, MSEI, ENIT, and member-facing exchange portals will be an advantage. Ability to maintain structured records for users, terminals, licenses, assets, vendors, renewals, and access rights. Clear communication, fast follow-up, and ownership of issues until closure. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a broking, trading, HFT, algo, or financial services technology environment. Exposure to trading terminals, algo platforms, exchange connectivity, vendor licensing, Linux/SQL support, or server/application support. Ability to work independently in a regulated, time-sensitive business environment.
