About the role
We are looking for an experienced software engineer to join the Backend team. The Backend team is responsible for building and managing large distributed components that run the game. This team handles everything that is related to the core of game logic. We are looking for engineers who are passionate about solving complex problems and building game platforms, keeping in mind scalability, efficiency, and accuracy. Responsibilities Involvement in scalable distributed services development. Improve the efficiency, scalability, stability, and security of the system. Work closely with development and design teams to define and refine feature specifications. Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Education and Experience Required 2+ years of experience in NodeJS + Typescript with a solid foundation in computer science. Strong competency in data structures, algorithms, design patterns and software design. Understanding of Socket.io, NestJS and microservices. Good knowledge of one or more RDBMS and NoSQL databases. Good understanding of nuances of distributed systems, scalability, and availability. In-depth understanding of concurrency, synchronization, & memory usage. Experience with other programming languages is a plus. Experience in a startup environment is a plus. Excellent communication skills.
