Python Backend Developer

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Python Backend Developer with 4-6 years of experience in building scalable, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python development, API design, microservices architecture, database management, and cloud-native technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop reliable and secure backend solutions that power modern web and mobile applications. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend systems and services using Python. Build robust RESTful APIs and microservices for web and mobile applications. Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams. Optimise applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability. Integrate third-party services, APIs, and data sources. Implement security and data protection best practices. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning. Work with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integration and deployment. Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues. Requirements Strong proficiency in Python (3 x). Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI. Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development. Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and MongoDB/Redis. Familiarity with ORM tools such as Django ORM or SQLAlchemy. Experience with microservices architecture. Knowledge of Git, RabbitMQ/Kafka/Celery, Docker, Nginx, and Gunicorn. Understanding of data structures, algorithms, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines. Good-to-Have Skills Experience with FastAPI and asynchronous programming. Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of Kubernetes and GraphQL. Experience with event-driven architecture.
