About the role
Qualification: BE, BTech, ME, MTech, M.Sc. (EEE, ENI, ECE, Railway Engineering) Years of Experience: 6 to 10 years of relevant experience Roles and Responsibilities · Analyze and interpret detailed railway specifications (e.g. RDSO, IR, Metro rail, EN, IEC standards) for products related to condition monitoring of railway assets such as coach/wagon/locomotive/OHE/Track domains. · Translate these specifications into structured product requirement documents (PRDs) for the technical and engineering teams. · Act as the bridge between domain experts, railway customers, RDSO, Railway Board and internal hardware/software/AI teams to ensure solution alignment with operational railway needs. · Drive technical compliance through design reviews, traceability matrices, and validation protocols aligned to Indian Railway/RDSO/customer standards. · Coordinate with RDSO, customers, certification and testing agencies for prototype approval and field trial readiness. · Maintain competitive benchmarking with Indian and international railway solutions to guide product roadmaps. Awareness of competitive products, features, costing and key product considerations. Skills Required · Strong understanding of RDSO specifications, Indian Railway and metro processes , or similar domain-specific national and international standards. · Experience working with embedded systems, machine vision, sensors, or AI/ML products in the sector. · Work experience with CAD drawings, technical schematics, BoMs and engineering change documents. · Product and project management practices with strong exposure of MS Office and requirement management tools such as JIRA/Confluence/Tello preferred. · Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
