About the Team: The Software Integration Team plays a critical role in ensuring that different software systems, platforms, and applications within an organization work seamlessly together. Their primary responsibility is to integrate diverse technologies and ensure smooth communication between systems to achieve business objectives. About the Role: As a Graduate Trainee- Merchant Integration Engineer, you will primarily focus on building, debugging, and optimizing payment gateway integrations. You will work on improving integration reliability and reducing overall integration time. You will be responsible for diagnosing complex integration issues, improving system performance, and contributing to the stability of payment processing systems across the full transaction/integration lifecycle. Demonstrating strong ownership, motivation, and a self-driven learning attitude. Responsibilities: Work closely with developers, merchants, and internal teams on pre-integration and post-integration issues, providing technical support, consultation, and best practices. Analyse logs to identify trends, recurring issues, and root causes, and escalate them to the product/engineering team when necessary. Contribute to code-level fixes, enhancements, and internal tools/scripts for better debugging and monitoring. Work on AI/ML or Generative AI based projects, including chatbots, automated support systems or tracking merchant analytics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, QA) to enhance system robustness and scalability. Requirements: 0-1 yrs of experience in web development using one or more of the following: Java, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, VB.NET, PHP, or Python (preferred). Hands-on experience with SQL, including writing queries to fetch, analyze, and troubleshoot transaction data (e.g., SELECT queries, joins, aggregations, filtering, and basic performance optimization). 0 1 years of hands-on experience working with LLMs (Large Language Models) / Generative AI applications such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, or similar GenAI ecosystems. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve AI-driven product features and resolve model-related issues. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
