Senior Data Analytics responsibilities with Technical/Team Leadership (TA), Experience: 4 to 8 Years Location: India (Currently Work From Home). Future work location: Bengaluru or Hyderabad, based on business requirements. Role Description The Senior Data Analyst (acting TL) will be responsible for leading data analysis initiatives end-to-end, from requirements gathering to insight delivery, for clients and internal stakeholders.Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and transforming data from multiple sources; designing and maintaining data models; and performing statistical analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities.The role will involve building dashboards and reports, presenting insights to business and technical teams, and translating data findings into actionable recommendations.The Senior Data Analyst will also guide and mentor a team of analysts, review their work for quality and accuracy, collaborate closely with product, engineering, and consulting teams, and contribute to improving analytics processes, tools, and documentation.Qualifications Strong foundation in Data Analytics and Statistics, with experience applying quantitative methods to solve business problems.Proficiency in Analytical Skills and Data Modeling to design robust data structures, validate assumptions, and interpret complex datasets.Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to explain technical insights to non-technical stakeholders and lead discussions with client teams.Hands-on experience with mySQL and at least one analytics or scripting language (e.g., Python, R) and familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).Proven experience (68 years) in a data analyst or similar role, including prior responsibility for mentoring or leading a small analytics team.Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline.Experience working in consulting, technology services, or product-led environments and comfort collaborating in cross-functional agile teams.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to prioritize and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced setting.
