SENIOR AUTOMATION TESTER

Role:Senior Automation Tester Experience: 3-4 years Location: Infopark, Cochin Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Tester to lead automation initiatives across web, mobile, and API platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing robust test automation frameworks, implementing CI/CD test pipelines, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and release efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Build, maintain, and optimize automated test suites using Katalon Studio and TestNG. Integrate tests into the CI/CD pipeline. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web/mobile/API using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium Lead automation strategy and implementation across different project phases. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) Apply AI-powered testing tools (e.g., Testim, Applitools, Mabl, Launchable) for visual and intelligent automation. Execute regression, smoke, and integration tests across environments. Participate in BDD/TDD practices using tools like Cucumber, Gherkin, or SpecFlow . Generate comprehensive test reports and dashboards using tools like Allure or Extent Reports Collaborate with developers and manual QA engineers to define automation scope. Review test cases, identify automation opportunities, and improve test coverage. Perform code reviews and guide junior automation engineers. Work with developers and product owners to ensure test coverage of new features and bug fixes. Ensure automation best practices are followed throughout the SDLC. Must-Have Skills Tools: Automation Tools: Katalon Studio Advanced proficiency (Web, mobile or API modules) with Java and TestNG for custom automation logic.
