About the role
About the Role We are seeking a Network Engineer to support and enhance our managed network services, with a strong focus either on SD-WAN, Zscaler or Juniper Mist. This role goes beyond traditional Network monitoring and is centered on proactive network optimization, advanced troubleshooting, and continuous service improvement across customer environments. You will act as a key technical contributor in maintaining reliable, scalable, and high-performing connectivity solutions. Work Set-up: 100% Work from home Work Schedule: Mid to Night Shift (9-hour shift falling within 3:00 PM 4:00 AM PH Time) On-Call: Reactive on-call support as required for high-priority security or cloud incidents What You'll Do (Duties and Responsibilities) Support and optimize hybrid cloud connectivity, including integrations with Microsoft Azure and AWSDrive network performance improvements by identifying recurring issues and implementing long-term fixesExecute controlled changes, upgrades, and patching activities across network infrastructureCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support service enhancements and new solution deploymentsDevelop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and operational proceduresInfrastructure Integrity: Administer and maintain customer infrastructure following strict change control processes to ensure zero-downtime security updates.Service Excellence: Generate high-level reporting on security posture and cloud performance for Managed Service delivery stakeholders. What You Bring (Skills, Qualifications or Experience) Certification: MUST be CCNP certified with an ACTIVE certification status.Advanced Networking: Deep technical understanding of BGP, VRFs, QoS, Multicast, Subnetting and IP addressing protocols. Hardware Maintenance: Experience upgrading firmware on diverse infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points (APs).Service Background: Experience in high-pressure, low-latency environments such as Media Broadcasting or Finance.Process Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL best practices and incident management systems such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, or HaloITSM.Soft Skills: Customer-centric approach with the ability to communicate complex technical security issues to diverse stakeholders. Nice to Have Direct experience with Azure ExpressRoute and AWS Direct Connect.Operational knowledge of Zscaler, Juniper Mist or SD-WAN technologies.
