About the role
Design Engineer with over 5 years of engineering experience in creation of Active Safety components (ADAS) e.g. Camera, Sensors, Lidar and Radar
Create concept, specification setting and layout creation and negotiation capability
CATIA V5/V6 experience.
Ability to design plastic and sheet metal parts and assemblies.
Create layouts and 2D drawings for components and assembly.
Conducts design feasibility and cost analysis, strength calculations, material selection, part construction, part specification, scheduling and coordinating
activities involved in prototyping, fabricating and manufacturing of assigned parts and systems.
Must be proficient in technical writing and possess computer skills for scientific and technical applications.
Must be able to proficiently handle multiple projects and develop analytical procedures.
Work with suppliers to assure parts/services are requested appropriately, evaluate technical proposals, and write technical reports.
Make technical decisions with moderate supervision.
Ability to report research and test results in various technical formats
