About the role
Job Description:
Detailed knowledge in the design of interior electromechanical and/or decorative products
Extensive experience and a thorough understanding of the Automotive industry and product development processes
In-depth experience of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within Design Engineering including basic stress-strain analysis, Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, tolerance stacks and root cause analysis
UG NX & Team Center experience is a plus. Training will be provided as required.
Ability to provide creative and practical design solutions to meet Customer requirements
Advanced mathematical, technical and mechanical skills with an emphasis on hands-on experience
Strong communication skills with an ability to lead and oversee the work of others
Experience with the automotive PPAP process, engineering change systems and business processes
Experience in high volume manufacturing processes and common quality control principles
Familiarity with standardized and automotive laboratory test methods
Computer literacy in basic PC-based office software
English language competency
Chinese language skill is a plus
