About the role
Position Overview:
Design, development, and testing of Basic Software (BSW) as per Classic AUTOSAR architecture with below components:
Microcontroller Abstraction Layer (MCAL)
Complex/ASIC Device Drivers (CDD)
Bootloader APIs
LLIO – Low Level Inputs and Outputs
SWI – SW Integration
SWA – SW Architecture
Communication, Diagnostics and SWC configuration, RTE generation and call
Services include OS, Power Moding, Memory, NVRAM, Watchdog, Ext FLash.
In this role, individual will be responsible for design, development, documentation, verification of embedded software covering SWE1 to SWE4 areas for AutoSAR based Engine Controller Project to meet customer, internal, and regulatory requirements.
Educational Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Electronics / Communication / Electrical / Power Electronics / Instrumentation
Experience: 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience in Automotive BSW software development
Major Skills and Experience:
Strong experience with AUTOSAR architecture, Configuration & implementation of BSW modules
Must have BSW software development experience in configuration of Communication Stack, Diagnostic stack, Network management including CAN/CANFD, UDS and LIN protocols, Memory Stack, Power moding, Interrupt config, NVM/Memory, OS, WDG, ECUM, BSWM
Solid Hands-on experience in full lifecycle AUTOSAR compliant ETAS ISOLAR AB activities (ARXML integration, RTE call update, System & test App configuration, to RTE generation, SWC Configuration). Includes expert support to SW team at Customer place for ISOLAR related issues during dev & release
Must have BSW software development experience in configuration of Communication Stack, Diagnostic stack, Network management including CAN/CANFD, UDS and LIN protocols, Memory Stack, Power moding, Interrupt config, NVM/Memory, OS, WDG, ECUM, BSWM
Strong expertise in Programming (C/C++) and debugging for embedded multithreaded and multi core/CPU software environment, experienced in EB Tresos, Polyspace, JIRA, IBM Polarion, Plastic SCM, VectorCast, Lauterbach T32 on Infineon AURIX TriCore 389
Hands-on experience in CDD and MCAL Configuration (Mcu, Dio, Pwm, Adc, Port, Fls, Fee, Gtm, Wdg, Smu, Icu) for 32 bit microcontrollers (Infineon TC3xx and NXP Power PC) and driver development for External ASICs (Application Specific Integrated Circuit)
Strong ability to comprehend microcontroller hardware and associated schematics
Must have understanding of AUTOSAR configuration tools (EB Tresos) and methodology with Hands-on experience of minimum 2 years in Autosar Bootloader
Strong SW design and development experience in compliance with Functional Safety Standard at level 3/Microcontroller level through LBIST, SMU, Lockstep Core, WDG etc. modules
