About the role
JOB DESCRIPTION:
BOOTLOADER / FIRMWARE DEVELOPER - EMBEDDED C
Develop Firmware, Bootloaders, Complex Device Drivers using C
Designing and developing software for a System on Chip (SoC) solution consisting of multiple operating environments (POSIX, RTOS, bare metal) and processing cores (MPU, MCU, DSP) interfacing with devices through common peripheral buses (SPI, I2C, CAN, PCIe, MIPI CSI, SERDES, Ethernet, UART)
Designing and developing FreeRTOS device drivers using C
Designing and developing Classic Autosar services and Complex Device Drivers (CDD) using C
Designing and developing QNX applications using C and C++ in support of hardware verification and EMC testing
Debugging HW-SW interfacing issues for root cause identification using common tools and methods (JTAG, oscilloscope, logic analyzer)\
Collaborating with hardware team on schematic review and software impact
Collaborating with CICD to build and deliver software packages for multiple hardware variants, operating systems, and processor targets using tools such as git, conan, python, and CMake
Collaborating with Automation team to support and maintain flashing tools using python.
