Job Title: Hardware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Let me know if you have anyone pipelined for this role, we’re trying to win the program, but we do not have a SOW yet. I think we’ll need at least 3+ years of experience and prior hardware design experience in India.

• Typical Responsibilities (optional to include)

• Troubleshoot failed ECM units to root cause at system and component level

• Develop and execute diagnostic test plans

• Support production, validation, and field-return investigations

• Document findings and recommend corrective actions

• Interface with design engineering on failure mechanisms and fixes

• Core Technical Skills

• Deep knowledge of:

• Analog and digital circuit operation

• Power electronics fundamentals (DC-DC, gate drivers, protection circuits)

• Schematic & Gerber tool as Zuken (preferable)

• Worst Case Analysis tool as Mathcad tool.

• Hands-on experience with lab equipment:

• Oscilloscopes (highly preferred: multi-channel, differential probing)

• Digital multimeters

• Power supplies and electronic loads

• Ability to diagnose:

• Component-level failures (FETs, drivers, passives, ICs)

• Intermittent electrical issues

• Thermal-related faults

• Automotive-Specific Experience

• Experience working with: Automotive ECUs/ECMs in development

Requirements

• Analog design experience (high and low side drivers)

• Switch mode power supply experience

• 6–10-layer boards

• Zuken/Altium (very adaptable to pick up zuken)

• WCA – Mathcad

• Testing/Troubleshooting experience

• Nice to Have:

• FuSa experience (knowing the overview)
