Job Description & Skill Requirement
'5-7 years of manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering experience, ideally in an electro-mechanical, industrial procust manufacturing assembly environment
Lean manufacturing, Total quality management, Kaizen, 5s, Material tracking – Kanban, Poke - Yoka etc.
Improve quality, reduce cost, increase productivity, and improve cycle time.
high volume and high mix production environment
VSM
Video based time studies
VA / NVA / RNVA analysis
Line Balancing Studies using Yamazumi charts
SOP, Work Instructions,
capacity calculation, manpower utilization and cell utilization
Analyse bottleneck in the process, understand current challenges and projects in place to improve performance
Material and internal supply logistics study and identify wastes in current process
Propose process improvements to reduce the indirect labour cost
Implementing the Process improvements
Qualification:
'BS in Engineering - Manufacturing or Industrial; More advanced degrees are a plus but not required
