About the role
Job Description:
Responsibilities
-
Conduct powertrain or driveline board-level design, testing, product maintenance.
-
Design and test circuits including but not limited to control board, driver board etc. Based on auto standards and customer requirement.

Set up the testing system with ECU and motor.
-
Interface with other domains to ensure product capability and performance.
-
Translates customer requirements into product specifications; interfaces with customer representatives to ensure their desired features and performance levels are properly comprehended in product specifications.
-
Size and calculate the necessary electrical parts used in the system based on project needs.
-
Provide analysis report for system evaluation.
-
Key technical expert for discussion and communications with customers.
-
Not a supervisor but may lead and provide direction to a team of individuals.
Qualifications
-
More than 3 years of hands-on experience in automotive driveline electrical controls electronics. DV or PV Testing experience (inverter or DCDC converter experience is preferred)

Master's degree or bachelor's degree with equivalent experience in electronics is required.

Excellent communication skills.

Able to create and present during technical design reviews and industry forums.

Able to develop and guide utilization of electrical engineering processes

Familiar with power switches, system basis chips, gate drivers, and analog/digital sensing and controls and their applications.

Hands-on experience in board-level testing and trouble-shooting.

Familiar with schematics drawing and PCB layout check.
-
Proficient in doing circuit simulations with LTspice/Pspice.
-
Capable in doing failure analysis and providing solutions.
-
Familiar with necessary testing apparatus/equipment.
-
Project Planning in the electrical engineering domain.

Lead co-ops and junior engineers
