Propulsion HIL system Engineering

Responsibilities

• Hardware In Loop systems experience (dSPACE, ETAS, NI, Vector, etc.)

• Experience in HIL simulator design, electrical/wiring harness design, load box design, implementation, and troubleshooting

• Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, CAN/CANFD, SPI, LIN and Flash bootloaders

• Diagnostics & Tools: UDS, XCP, CANalyzer, CANoe

• Perform Impact and requirements analysis including BOM

• Primary interface between HIL development team and external teams

• Prepare the harness definition design.

• Attend meetings to gather the required information and communicate progress updates.

• Work with the hardware engineer to prepare kits that include all the components needed, to be sent to the HIL supplier to build the harness.

• Harness build verification per design.

• Leading and resolving all identified HIL related issues.

• Hands on ability to modify wiring on existing harness and troubleshoot hardware issues.

• Lead meeting to collect enablers to design a system HIL, to deliver on time.

• Commission design through open and closed loop setup.

• Ability to communicate effectively internally within the group, and externally (including suppliers).

• Qualification:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering
