System Architect

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain brake system functional and safety requirements.

• Develop and support brake system architecture models.

• Provide input and direction for software architecture design and partitioning.

• Create test vectors for functional and safety testing.

• Work with system test engineers to document test requirements and test results.

• Coordinate resolution of system test issues.

• Interface with algorithm and electronic control unit engineering for the development of new products.

• Support vehicle development/test activities as needed.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the operation of hydraulic modulators and E-boosters.

• Understanding of software safety architecture and model-based design.

• Understanding of vehicle dynamics and potential safety hazards.

• Basic understanding of electronics hardware design.

• Knowledge of simulation development tools such as Matlab/Simulink.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Good oral and written communication skills.

• 3-5 years’ experience in automotive brake control development.

• BSME/CE/CS/EE or similar
