About the role
Responsibilities
-
Develop, document, and maintain brake system functional and safety requirements.

Develop and support brake system architecture models.
-
Provide input and direction for software architecture design and partitioning.
-
Create test vectors for functional and safety testing.
-
Work with system test engineers to document test requirements and test results.
-
Coordinate resolution of system test issues.
-
Interface with algorithm and electronic control unit engineering for the development of new products.
-
Support vehicle development/test activities as needed.
Requirements
-
Knowledge of the operation of hydraulic modulators and E-boosters.
-
Understanding of software safety architecture and model-based design.
-
Understanding of vehicle dynamics and potential safety hazards.
-
Basic understanding of electronics hardware design.
-
Knowledge of simulation development tools such as Matlab/Simulink.
-
Strong attention to detail.
-
Good oral and written communication skills.
-
3-5 years’ experience in automotive brake control development.
-
BSME/CE/CS/EE or similar
