Systems Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

Create and maintain system processes

Mentor Junior systems engineers

Develop vehicle topology for production and advanced projects

Write system and subsystem test specifications

Compose system and subsystem requirements

Capture issues into customer issue management system

Lead / participate in issue resolution activities during advance project, product development, vehicle launch, and/or warranty periods

Support incorporating module(s) into vehicle electrical systems

Create vehicle level systems testing and execute testing

Collaborate with project managers, development team, suppliers and customers to ensure that requirements and expectation are addressed in all phases of the project

ISO 26262 Functional Safety Management

Supervision Received :

· Limited Direction: Works from overall policies, goals and budgetary limits. Virtually self-supervising with direct accountability for final results.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· None.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor of Computer or Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Computer Science or related field

7+ years system engineering experience

3+ years of automotive experience

Practical knowledge of ASPICE

Experience with embedded systems

Knowledge of AUTOSAR and CAN preferred

Strong planning, monitoring and communication skills

Ability to work with Global Teams
