Test Automation Engineer

Job Description:

Software testing experience on embedded platform with Python Framework such as Slash- https://slash.readthedocs.io/en/master/

Testing automation experience writing automated test scripts in Python

Familiarity with Agile development processes

Experience using JIRA, TestRail, Jama

Plus:

Networking experience : CAN, LIN, Ethernet, SOME/IP

HTTP or GRPC networking protocols

Experience working with automotive company

Responsibilities

• Analyzing product requirements

• Cross-functional collaboration with teams to design test plans and test setups for software solutions that span multiple domains.

• Test Automation development

• Test failure analysis

• Test coverage analysis

• Position Qualifications: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of software testing experience on embedded, mobile, or consumer electronic platforms

• Test Automation experience in Python

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in testing embedded operating systems

• Experience in testing for automotive

• Familiarity with Agile development processes

• Experience using JIRA

• Methodical; capable of prioritizing work and working to tight deadlines.

• An excellent communicator, both oral and written.

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering
