Lead Bi Developer

As an experienced BI Lead at Straive, you will be responsible for driving data visualization, business intelligence, and data transformation initiatives. Your expertise in Power BI, DBT, SQL, and data modeling will be crucial in managing stakeholders and leading BI teams effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Leadership & Stakeholder Management - Gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders. - Provide project updates, manage expectations, and ensure delivery quality. - Lead and mentor BI developers through reviews and technical guidance. - Data Transformation & Modeling - Design and maintain scalable data models using DBT. - Develop Star Schema and Snowflake Schema data models. - Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation. - Work with contemporary data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift. - Power BI Development - Manage Power BI Service, Workspaces, Gateways, and Row-Level Security (RLS). - Develop advanced DAX measures, dashboards, and reports. - Optimize report performance and ensure mobile responsiveness. - Deliver impactful visualizations that support business decision-making. Required Skills: - Solid experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Power BI Service). - Expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modeling. - Advanced SQL skills including CTEs, Window Functions, and Query Optimization. - Strong knowledge of Dimensional Modeling, Star Schema, and Snowflake Schema. - Experience with SSIS and SSRS in enterprise environments. - Hands-on experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift. Education & Experience: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics. - Proven experience leading BI projects and teams.
